Little Performance Residency
Die Reihe Little Performance Residency bietet internationalen
Performance-Künstlern ein Forum, ihre Arbeit in Berlin zu entwickeln und zu
präsentieren.
ada lädt einmal im Jahr (in der Regel im Juli/August) 2 Einzelkünstler oder Künstlergruppen ein, eine etwa 25- bis 30-minütige Performance zu
einem von ada vorgegebenen Thema zu kreieren. ada stellt den Künstlern
Proberaum und Aufführungsort zur Verfügung, leistet Unterstützung
bei der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und im kreativen Prozess (dramaturgische Beratung,
Probenbesuche und Feedback).
Die Residenz mündet in drei Vorstellungen im ada Studio.
Wir sind offen sowohl für choreografierte Stücke als auch für strukturierte Improvisationen und für alle Formen der Performance-Kunst - Tanz, Musik, Video, Sprechtheater, interdisziplinäre Zusammenschlüsse etc.
The Performance Residency Series offers international performance artists a unique
forum for creating and presenting work in Berlin.
For each residency, ada invites once a year (usually in July/August) 2 artists, or groups of artists, into their studio to create a short performance piece (25 –
30 minutes) and deal with a subject set by ada. The artists are given rehearsal and
performance space, promotion,
and professional support for their creation process. The residency culminates in
3 performance evenings at the ada studio-theatre.
We are open to set choreography or improvisation, and all forms of performance
art – dance, music, video, spoken word, interdisciplinary collaborations, etc.
